Ziman Development and its president, Michael Ziman, were recently featured in NJ Home Magazine for their exceptional rebuild of a Long Beach Island home that merges modern design, coastal charm, and sustainable craftsmanship. The project replaced a dated 1960s structure with a refined, resilient home designed to maximize ocean views and create cohesive, livable spaces for family and guests.
Working with Donna and Victoria Grimes of Serenity Design, Ziman Development delivered a design that balances sophistication with relaxed coastal energy. The result is a three-level home featuring a vaulted, shiplap-lined great room with panoramic glass sliders, expansive outdoor terraces, and interiors layered with white, blue, and natural wood textures that reflect the serenity of its beachfront setting.
Durability and sustainability were core priorities. The team incorporated NuCedar cellular PVC shingles and ChamClad soffits-materials that withstand moisture, salt air, and sun exposure while maintaining a timeless aesthetic. Inside, every finish was selected for both beauty and performance, from stain-resistant upholstery to easy-care flooring, ensuring that long-term enjoyment would never be compromised by maintenance.
The home embodies Ziman Development’s signature approach to coastal building: elegant, efficient, and enduring. By pairing environmentally responsible materials with modern design and craftsmanship, the company continues to set the standard for custom coastal homebuilding in New Jersey.
